Springtime in L.A. includes Covering Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Red Carpet Premiere #GotGVol2Event

I cannot tell you how excited my Spring is going to be! Starting 4/18 I will be in L.A. to cover some of the best movies and show 2017 has to offer. From walking the red carpet with the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to dancing with some of the troupe members of Dancing with the Stars, this week will be choked full of excitement and entertainment. I am excited as this picture of Baby Groot! Here are the details for you to follow along.

We Will Interview Cast and Crew of Guardians AND cover the Red Carpet Premiere – #GotGVol2Event

Best Picture of 2017, by far, will be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! This time our adventures takes the a-holes into the the cosmic beyond to defend the galaxy against a new kind of evil!

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is written and directed by James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Slither”). The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (“Jurassic World,” “Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Star Trek Into Darkness”) as Gamora; Dave Bautista (“Spectre,” “Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Drax; Vin Diesel (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Furious 7”) as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper (“Joy,” “American Sniper”) as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Jumper”) as Yondu; Karen Gillan (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Big Short”) as Nebula; and Sean Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Gilmore Girls”) as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff (“Oldboy”), Elizabeth Debicki (“The Great Gatsby,” “Everest”), Chris Sullivan (“The Knick,” “The Drop”) and Kurt Russell (“The Hateful Eight,” “Furious 7”).

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.

The original “Guardians of the Galaxy” was a hit with critics and audiences alike, earning over $770 million at the worldwide box-office, and holds the record as the most successful debut film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition, the film’s soundtrack went platinum and was nominated for a Grammy®.

I cannot wait to see what Awesome Mixtape #2 brings. A few of the songs include Fox on the Run (Sweet), My Sweet Lord (George Harrison), The Chain (Fleetwood Mac), Come a Little Bit Closer (Jay and the Americans) and Suffragette City (David Bowie).

We will Screen the New Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants 2 – #Descendants2Event

In “Descendants 2,” the story deepens in the music-driven sequel to the global smash hit “Descendants,” as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains — Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as Villain Kids or VKs) — try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry and Gaston’s son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.

As if this trip wasn’t already jam packed, we will attend several ABC TV Events. First up, checking out the set of American Housewife, followed up with an interview of the housewife herself, Katy Mixon!American Housewife (airing on ABC Tuesdays at 8:30e/7:30c) tells the story of the perfectly imperfect wife and mom Katie Otto, who loves her “second breakfast” time with her pals after dropping off her kids at their various schools.During our trip, we will have the chance to have our own “Second Breakfast” with Katy Mixon and talk more about the show.

Downward Dog – #DownwardDog

We will take in an exclusive sneak preview of Downward Dog, a new ABC comedy that follows the day-to-day life of Nan (Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress Allison Tolman “Fargo”), as told by her increasingly lonely and philosophical dog, Martin. We will also have a special Q&A session with Allison Tolman.

2017 Radio Disney Music Awards – #RDMAEvent

The trip keeps getting better and better. While in L.A., we will celebrate the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards with a special musical performance and Q&A about the fifth anniversary of the show! The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards take place on Saturday, April 29th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with performances by some of the biggest artists along with tomorrow’s rising stars in music. A special two-hour telecast, “Disney Channel Presents the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards,” will be presented Sunday, April 30th at 7/6c on Disney Channel.

Dancing with the Stars Dance Lession – #DWTS

We will dance the day away with Dancing with the Stars troupe members Brittany Cherry, Britt Stewart, Hayley Erbert and Brandon Strong. The troupe is a group of immensely talented dancers who perform on every episode in special dance bits and as back-up dancers with the guest celebrities and pros. DWTS airs on Monday nights on ABC at 8/7c.
